You may also choose to file a complaint about Zoning, Nuisance/Abandoned Vehicle(s), Building, Grading/Land fill, or Vegetation/Tree removal issues with the San Mateo Planning and Building Department by downloading and completeing a "Violation Complaint Form" (PDF)

 

Register other complaints on the Environmental Health Complaint System for the following types of complaints by calling (650) 599-1112, or by filling in our Online Complaint Form.

  • Garbage accumulation (junk, debris, yard waste, decaying food)
  • Animal wastes (feces)
  • Poor housing conditions including:
  • Leaking roofs
  • Mold and mildew
  • Faulty plumbing
  • Inadequate heating
  • Electrical problems
  • Insects (including cockroaches, bees, ticks, flies, lice)
  • Cleanliness or improper food handling at food establishments
  • Noise complaints in the Unincorporated area
